Dr. Jamil Hasanli is a Senior Fellow at the Institute of Historical Research (SAS) of the University of London. He is graduated from Baku State University. He also served as a professor at Baku State University. He served two terms as a Member of Parliament of Azerbaijan. Dr. Hasanli was a History and Public Policy Scholar of the Woodrow Wilson International Center, and received the Ion Ratiu Democracy Award of the Wilson Center. From 2016-2017 he was a scholar at the Cold War Center at East China Normal University in Shanghai. He is an Honorary Member of Turkish Historical Society and member of American Historical Association.
