Dr. Itamar Radai completed his PhD at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a post-doc at NYU. His book, Palestinians in Jerusalem and Jaffa, 1948 was published at Routledge in 2016. His main research ares are history of the Palestinians and of the Arab-Israeli conflict. He is academic director of the Adenauer program for Jewish-Arab cooperation (a research program on Arab society and politics) at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Tel Aviv University, and is currently a visiting research fellow at the Taub Center for Israel Studies at NYU. His lecture today is based on his research project at the Taub Center.
