Kayla Dang

Kayla Dang (Ph.D. Yale University, 2022) is an Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies at Saint Louis University. She is primarily interested in the religious traditions of Iran and the Near East in the first millennium (from late antiquity through the medieval period), focusing on the transformation of Zoroastrianism after the fall of the Sasanian empire and the emergence of Islam, as well as the interactions of Muslims, Zoroastrians, Christians, Manichaeans, Jews and others.
