Second-year graduate student Tom Abi Samra was awarded the Walter G. Andrews Graduate Student Ottoman Language Summer School Tuition Scholarship from the American Association of Teachers of Turkic Languages. He will be using the scholarship to study at the Intensive Ottoman and Turkish Summer School in Cunda, Turkey.
