Eisenberg ’20, Slattery ’20, and Zalewski ’20 Awarded SINSI Internships

Three undergraduates with ties to NES have been awarded Scholars in the Nation’s Service Initiative (SINSI) summer internships with the federal government. Leora Eisenberg ’ 20, a Slavic Languages and Literatures major, is pursuing certificates in Persian Language and Culture, Russian, and East European and Eurasian Studies; Meghan Slattery ’20, an Operations Research and Financial Engineering major, is pursuing certificates in Arabic Language and Culture, Finance, and Technology and Society; and  Alexandra Zalewski ’20, a Woodrow Wilson School concentrator, is studying Arabic in department. SINSI provides funding for 8- to 10-week internships each year to selected undergraduate scholars.
