Peter F. Kitlas successfully defended his doctoral dissertation, “Divinely Guided Ambassadors:Ottoman and Moroccan Roots of Modern Diplomacyin the Eighteenth-Century Mediterranean,” at his Final Public Oral Examination held Friday morning, December 18, 2020. The examination committee was his advisor M’hamed Oualdi (History Department, Sciences Po-Paris), M. Qasim Zaman (NES), and Molly Greene (History, NES Ph.D. 1993).
