Rotblat ’17 Awarded Boren Scholarship

NES concentrator Jeremy Rotblat ’17 has been awarded a David L. Boren Scholarship to study abroad during the 2016-17 academic year. “The award, which was given to 165 students from 820 applicants nationwide, supports undergraduate study abroad in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.” Rotblat will spend the year studying Persian at the American Councils’ Eurasian Regional Language Program (ERLP) in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
