Atatürk: Entelektüel Biyografi
Type
"This book aims to reveal Atatürk's detailed intellectual biography. The study is based on various local and foreign archive documents and period publications, especially his notebooks, the marks he made on the works he read and the notes he took, his speeches, interviews, and the books he wrote. By examining the intellectual background and ideological preferences of the founder of the republic, it also strives to determine the outlines of the ‘founding ideology’ of modern Turkey, which is frequently referred to but cannot be filled, and to analyze it. This biography, which breaks away from the corpus of evaluating Atatürk with stereotypical clichés and analyzes him as a twentieth-century leader who read, thought, discussed, and tried to build a nation and establish a state within the framework of his worldview, is the first academic text in its field."
